Training at Woolverstone Pool on the 19th July 2015 has been cancelled. The operator has informed us that the water is not safe to currently swim in.
Welcome to the Deben Swimming Club Website
Woodbridge based Deben swimming club caters for swimmers from Learn to Swim to a competitive standard. Weekly swimming lessons are provided for improver to advanced learners, with progressive teaching leading to squad training and competition. Various levels of competition are catered for and training tailored to suit, from in-house fun galas through to county, regional and ultimately national competition level.
The club consists of two main sections – The Teaching Section and the Squad Section. Each section has its own specific coaching / teaching aims, and being an all inclusive club we integrate swimmers with disabilities where the environment and type of disability enables us to.
The Teaching Section is for swimmers aged five and above. There are seven groups, which each swimmer will progress through as levels and awards are achieved. The club follows the ASA National Teaching Plan.
The squads are divided between Development, Competitive and Performance and the entry criteria is under Squad Information.

Congratulations to Abigail Webb, Caitlin Russell, Alexa Elliff and Sean Burgess whom have all been selected to represent Suffolk on the 5 th July in the East Region Inter County Competition to be held at Borehamwood. I am sure you will do the club proud.

Congratulations to Lewis – Following outstanding performances at the ASA East Regional finals over the last weekend in May, Lewis Moore has been selected to compete at three events, 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke and 200m backstroke at the ASA Summer Nationals between the 5th and 9th August at Sheffield. Fantastic achievement Lewis!
